This book has been written with the intention to guide people towards Islam and to educate Muslims about the fundamental teachings of this beautiful religion. The chapters in this book are bout Allah
, the Holy Prophet Muhammad
, the Holy Qur’an, Hadith, the Five Pillars of Islam, Prophetic Messengers of Allah (Alayhimussalam), and the Khulafa ar-Rashidin and the Ahl al-Bayt (Rady Allahu Anhum).
The first edition of this book was authored by students of Madrasa al-Hidaya between July 1997 and July 1998. It was originally authored by Muneeba Chaudhry, Aibah Khan, Ali Ahmad, Zenaira Ali, Aisha Chaudhry, Amna Ahmad and Zena Chaudhry. This second edition has been revised and reorganized by Ali Ahmad and Zenaira Ali.
We are grateful to our Ustadh Siddiq Osman Noormuhammad for editing this book. We are also grateful to our parents and our elders for their guidance in this endeavor.
We have worked with diligence to ensure accuracy; however, mistakes are bound to happen and we seek the forgiveness of Allah
for all such shortcomings.
We pray to Allah
for continued guidance so that we may continue to learn more about the Holy Qur’an, and lead a life in accordance with the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad
